Student  Membership

Are you interested in or doing research in environmental toxicology, ecological risk assessment, contaminant analyses, environmental impacts, site remediation?  Want to meet others with similar interests, share your work, broaden you area of expertise?  Consider becoming a student member of the North Atlantic Chapter of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (NAC/SETAC).  The size of our annual meetings enhances networking, sets an atmosphere for both socializing and lively scientific debate, and keeps members up to date on the rapidly evolving fields of environmental chemistry and toxicology.  Such meetings are especially helpful to our student members seeking exposure and future employment connections.

ALL MEMBERS receive our semi-annual newsletter and membership directory, vote on Chapter issues, and participate in chapter activities.  We foster student involvement in all aspects of Chapter activities, and have established monetary Student Awards for best oral and poster presentations at our annual meetings.

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP in NAC/SETAC is FREE!  Fill out the membership registration form and mail.  We hope to see you at our annual meetings or short courses.  Please contact Michael Thompson at mike@penobscotenvironmental.com or (207) 653-2452 for more information.
